DESCRIPTION:ICRI 2018 will be co-organised by the Austrian Federal Ministry
  of Science\, Research and\n	Economy (BMWFW) and the European Commission. 
 Participants from more than 50 countries are expected to take part in this
  event. Speakers\n	representing high-level stakeholders from across the gl
 obe and highly profiled institutions will\n	intervene in the debate.\n	 \
 n	ICRI 2018 aims at:\n	 \n	·      providing a forum for strategic d
 iscussion on international cooperation for research\n	infrastructures at g
 lobal level\;\n	·      highlighting the essential role of research i
 nfrastructures in addressing global challenges\n	and contributing to Susta
 inable Development Goals\;\n	·      reflecting on the needs\, develo
 pment\, and operation of global and national research\n	infrastructures\;\
 n	·      building on the outcomes of ICRI 2016\, discussing existing
  and emerging challenges\n	faced by RI stakeholders and investigating poli
 cy options and possible steps forward.\n	The detailed programme for ICRI 2
 018 is currently being developed in cooperation with high-\n	level interna
 tional experts on research infrastructures.\n	 Participation in ICRI 2018
  will be possible by invitation only. A dedicated webpage for the\n	confer
 ence will be available. You will receive a formal invitation\, along with 
 the Conference\n	Programme and further information\, from a dedicated func
 tional mailbox within the coming\n	months.\n
