 rtran programming language. Topics include object-oriented features\, lang
 uage interoperability and several other enhancements available at the Fort
 ran 2008 standard. Also an introduction to a way to express distributed me
 mory parallelism via Fortran coarrays will be presented.\n\nLearning outco
 me\n\nAt the end of the course you will be able to write and understand th
 e modern features of Fortran 2008 standard. You also will be able to write
  parallel programs using the Fortran coarrays concept.Prerequisites\n\nSol
 id knowledge of Fortran 95/2003. The concepts discussed in the PATC course
  "Introduction to Fortran Programming" is the bare minimum. Knowledge of C
  will also be needed for understanding topics on language interoperability
 . Some familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts will be assum
