 demia or industry who are using the R statistical software and want to ext

 rs and bugs when programming in R\n* efficiently use R data structures in 
 order to store and process their data\n* profile their code to find and re

 *. Having attended the "First Steps with R" SIB course does **not** provid
 e enough background to follow this course\; regular practice with R extend

 test [R version](https://www.r-project.org/) and [RStudio](https://www.rst
 udio.com/products/rstudio/download/) installed PRIOR to the course.\n\n# A
 pplication\nThe registration fees for academics are **300 CHF** and **1500
  CHF** for for-profit companies. While participants are registered on a fi
 rst come\, first served basis\, exceptions may be made to ensure diversity
  and equity\, which may increase the time before your registration is conf
 irmed.\n\nYou will be informed by email of your registration confirmation.
  Upon reception of the confirmation email\, participants will be asked to 
 confirm attendance by paying the fees within 5 days.\n\nDeadline for free-
 of-charge cancellation is set to **19/08/2026**. Cancellation after this d
