DESCRIPTION:\n	Today the most used paradigm used to exploit large massively
  parallel cluster is by combining MPI and OpenMP\, and many foresee that t
 his will stay the main method for exploiting exascale systems of tomorrow.
  \n\n	Moreover MPI and OpenMP standards are evolving including new ideas 
 and features to become increasingly effective in new machines.\n\n	This gi
 ves developers of HPC applications a smooth path of evolution of their app
 lications without having to deal with heavy re-factoring to take up new te
 chnologies.\n\n	The school will be focused on hybrid programming for the b
 est exploitation of massively parallel architectures\, and as a smooth pat
 h of continuous evolution of the application toward exascale machines.\n\n
 	 \n\n	Topics\n\n		Massively parallel architectures: BlueGene\, hybrid cl
 usters\n	\n		Overview of MPI and OpenMP\n	\n		Introduction to new MPI and 
 OpenMP standards\n	\n		Advanced MPI\n	\n		Hybrid programming with MPI and 
 OpenMP\n	\n		Debugging and Profiling hybrid MPI and OpenMP applications.\n
 \n	 \n\n	Target Audience\n\n	The school is aimed at PRACE users\, final y
 ear master students\, PhD students\, and young researchers in computationa
 l sciences and engineering\, with different backgrounds\, interested in ap
 plying the emerging technologies on high performance computing to their re
 search.The number of participants for each edition is limited to 24 studen
 ts. Applicants will be selected according to their experience\, qualificat

 equisites\n\n	Basic knowledge of parallel programming with MPI and/or Open
 MP\, Knowledge of FORTRAN and C languages.\n\n	Basic knowledge of parallel
  computer architectures.\n\n	\n	 \n\n	Attendance is free. Some grants\, u
 p to 500 EUR\, are available for participants not funded by their Institut
 ion and not coming from the area of the course location. Lunch will be pro
 vided by CINECA. Each student will be given a two month access to the CINE
