Advanced Threading and Optimization @ CSC
Date: 24 - 26 February 2015
The course includes topics on code optimization for x86 platforms and efficient code parallelization by using OpenMP threading. Advanced aspects on threading and optimization, such as new features of OpenMP 4.0, will be covered during the course. Techniques learned will be applied to the target platform of Xeon Phi coprocessors. Some performance aspects of hybrid programming with OpenMP and MPI will also be discussed.Learning outcome
