  following subjects\, in relation to scientific visualization with Blender
 \, are treated in the course:\n\n- Mesh editing\n- Python scripting in Ble
 nder\n- Advanced import of data\n- Animation\n- Node-based materials and s
 hading\n\nThis is a full-day course with hands-on assignments. The goal is
  to learn further practical skills in using Blender for scientific visuali
 zation.\n\nWe like to encourage participants to bring along the data they 
 normally work with\, or a sample thereof\, and would like to apply the cou
 rse knowledge to.\n\nNote that there will another edition of the Basics co
