DESCRIPTION:Chromatin immunoprecipitation followed by sequencing (ChIP-seq)
is a method used to identify binding sites for transcription factors\, hi
stone modifications and other DNA-binding proteins across the genome. In t
his course\, we will cover the fundamentals of ChIP-seq data analysis\, fr
om raw data to downstream applications. \n\nWe will start with an introduc
tion to ChIP-seq methods and cover the bioinformatic steps in processing C
hIP-seq data. We will then introduce the use of the graphical program SeqM
onk to explore and visualise your data. Finally\, you will perform peak ca
lling and perform differential enrichment analysis.\n\n\nIf you do not hav
 e a University of Cambridge [Raven account](https://legacy.raven.cam.ac.uk
/auth/account/) please book or register your interest [here](http://bioinf
 otraining.bio.cam.ac.uk/booking-form/?event-id=5147358&amp\;course-title=A
 nalysis%20of%20ChIP-seq%20Data%20with%20SeqMonk%20in-person).\n\nAdditiona
l information\n\n* ♿ The training room is located on the first floor and
there is currently no wheelchair or level access.\n* Our courses are only
free for registered University of Cambridge students. All other participa
nts will be charged according to our [charging policy](http://www.trainin
g.cam.ac.uk/bioinformatics/info/charging).\n* Attendance will be taken on
all courses and a charge is applied for non-attendance\, including for Uni
versity of Cambridge students. After you have booked a place\, if you are
unable to attend any of the live sessions\, please email the [Bioinfo Team
 ](https://training.csx.cam.ac.uk/bioinformatics/info/contact).\n* Further
details regarding eligibility criteria are available [here](http://www.tra
 ining.cam.ac.uk/bioinformatics/info/eligibility).\n* Guidance on visiting
Cambridge and finding accommodation is available [here](https://bioinfotra
