DESCRIPTION:Recent technological advances have made it possible to obtain g
enome-wide transcriptome data from single cells using high-throughput sequ
encing (scRNA-seq). Even though scRNA-seq makes it possible to address pro
blems that are intractable with bulk RNA-seq data\, analysing scRNA-seq is
also more challenging. \n\nIn this course we will be surveying the existi
ng problems as well as the available computational and statistical framewo
rks available for the analysis of scRNA-seq.\n\n\nIf you do not have a Uni
 versity of Cambridge [Raven account](https://legacy.raven.cam.ac.uk/auth/a
ccount/) please book or register your interest [here](http://bioinfotraini
 ng.bio.cam.ac.uk/booking-form/?event-id=4792980&amp\;course-title=Analysis
 %20of%20single%20cell%20RNA-seq%20data%20in-person).\n\nAdditional informa
tion\n\n* ♿ The training room is located on the first floor and there is
currently no wheelchair or level access.\n* Our courses are only free for
registered University of Cambridge students. All other participants will
be charged according to our [charging policy](http://www.training.cam.ac.
uk/bioinformatics/info/charging).\n* Attendance will be taken on all cours
es and a charge is applied for non-attendance\, including for University o
f Cambridge students. After you have booked a place\, if you are unable to
attend any of the live sessions\, please email the [Bioinfo Team](https:/
 /training.csx.cam.ac.uk/bioinformatics/info/contact).\n* Further details r
egarding eligibility criteria are available [here](http://www.training.cam
 .ac.uk/bioinformatics/info/eligibility).
