DESCRIPTION:PLEASE NOTE The Bioinformatics Team are presently teaching many
courses live online\, with tutors available to help you work through the
course material on a personal copy of the course environment. We continue
to monitor advice from the UK government and the University of Cambridge o
n resuming in-person teaching back in the training room.\n\nRecent technol
ogical advances have made it possible to obtain genome-wide transcriptome
data from single cells using high-throughput sequencing (scRNA-seq). Even
though scRNA-seq makes it possible to address problems that are intractabl
 e with bulk RNA-seq data\, analysing scRNA-seq is also more challenging. \
n\nIn this course we will be surveying the existing problems as well as th
e available computational and statistical frameworks available for the ana
lysis of scRNA-seq.\n\nPlease note that if you are not eligible for a Univ
 ersity of Cambridge [Raven](http://www.ucs.cam.ac.uk/docs/faq/raven/n5) ac
count you will need to book or register your interest by linking [here](ht
