DESCRIPTION:UniProt is a high quality\, comprehensive protein resource. Nex
 t to expert curation\, one of the core activities at UniProt is to develop
  computational methods for the functional annotation of protein sequences.
  In this webinar we will introduce two rule-based annotation systems\, Uni
 Rule and the Statistical Automatic Annotation System (SAAS)\, and explain 
 how they complement each other to automatically annotate the unreviewed re
 cords in the UniProt Knowledgebase (UniProtKB/TrEMBL) with a high coverage
  and a high degree of accuracy. We will also give you an early peek at the
  formats and systems we plan to make available to enable researchers to an
 notate their own protein sequences.
