 Ethics . We will reschedule the training to a later date and reinvite you

 ons can be found here.\n\n\n\n\n \n\nDuring this training\, different asp
 ects of ‘responsible research’ will be discussed.\nBioethics is one of
  the core aspects of responsible research. It is a very prominent issue in
  the biomedical areas of life sciences research. For instance\, in researc
 h involving primary human materials\, in clinical trials or in the use of 
 animals for scientific research. What are the main ethical issues here? Ho
 w do we deal with them? What is the role of ethical review boards in this 
 area and how do they function? What about animal research? How do you appl
 y the three R’s (replacement\, reduction and refinement) in animal resea
 rch?\nAlso\, the ‘broader societal impact of biotech and life sciences r
 esearch’ will be dealt with. Contested topics\, such as e.g. embryo rese
 arch and the worldwide debate on the public availability of human sequence
  data\, will be discussed.
