DESCRIPTION:This practical aims to familiarize you with the Galaxy user in
terface &amp\; execute a complete analysis of RNA-seq data.\n\nIt will tea
ch you how to perform basic tasks such as importing data\, running tools\,
working with histories\, creating workflows\, and sharing your work. In t
his tutorial we will introduce you to bare basics of Galaxy:\n\n\n	Getting
data from external databases such as UCSC\n	Performing simple data manipu
 lation\n	Understanding Galaxy’s History system\n	Creating and running a
workflow\n\n\nThe RNA-seq data analysis part comprises:\n\n\n	Filtering an
d quality control of reads\n	Mapping of reads to reference genomes\n	Read
summarization and read count modes\n\n\nThis workshop is organised by ELIX
IR Belgium. The course will handle the data analysis of bulk RNA-seq up ti
ll counts data. The subsequent part of the data analysis (differential exp
ression) will be addressed during the course "Bulk RNASeq: from counts to
 differential expression".
