DESCRIPTION:Discover the resources that ELIXIR\, the European bioinformatic
 s infrastructure\, has at your disposal to help you through all phases of 
 biological data gathering\, analysis\, and publication. In this session\, 
 you’ll learn about about the European and national bioinformatics infras
 tructures\, what is their role in shaping the European life sciences lands
 cape and how can researchers be a part of it. Trainees will also be guided
  through using ELIXIR flagship tools and resources such as the Federated E
 uropean Genome-Phenome Archive\, the Beacon Network\, the Galaxy platform\
 , and the ELIXIR TeSS portal. In this interactive workshop\, the trainees 
 will be given a mock project and will use ELIXIR bioinformatics resources 
 to solve concrete biological tasks.
