DESCRIPTION:Overview\n\nIn this tutorial we present an asynchronous data fl
ow programming model for Partitioned Global Address Spaces (PGAS) as an al
ternative to the programming model of MPI.\n\n\nGASPI\, which stands for G
lobal Address Space Programming Interface\, is a partitioned global addres
s space (PGAS) API. The GASPI API is designed as a C/C++/Fortran library a
nd focused on three key objectives: scalability\, flexibility and fault to
lerance. In order to achieve its much improved scaling behaviour GASPI aim
s at asynchronous dataflow with remote completion\, rather than bulk-synch
ronous message exchanges. GASPI follows a single/multiple program multiple
data (SPMD/MPMD) approach and offers a small\, yet powerful API (see also
  http://www.gaspi.de and http://www.gpi-site.com).\nGASPI is successfully
used in academic and industrial simulation applications.\n\n\nHands-on ses
sions (in C and Fortran) will allow users to immediately test and understa
nd the basic constructs of GASPI.\nThis course provides scientific trainin
g in Computational Science\, and in addition\, the scientific exchange of
the participants among themselves.\n\nFor further information and registra
tion please visit the HLRS course page.\n\nhttps://events.prace-ri.eu/even
