DESCRIPTION:The ELIXIR Bioinformatics Industry Forum (EBIF) is a one-day ev
 ent and aims to bring together the community of bioinformaticians to discu
 ss visionary ideas\, bottlenecks and solutions to some of the major challe
 nges in the data-driven life science sector.\n\nThis year’s EBIF focus i
 s on making Machine Learning robust and reproducible for the Life Sciences
 . The programme includes a mixture of presentations from industry and acad
 emia that will lead to panel discussions on the following themes:\n\n\n	In
 teroperable data and workflows to enable reproducible Machine Learning in 
 the life sciences and the role of Open Science in the value chain\;\n	Chal
 lenges and solutions in Machine Learning for the life sciences - Federated
  Learning and Synthetic Data\;\n	Innovation\, collaboration and security i
 n the Machine Learning Ecosystem.\n\n\n\n	Watch the event live\n\n	The liv
 e streaming has now ended.\n\n\n\nFormat: hybrid event\n\nWe encourage phy
 sical attendance for participating in roundtable discussions and networkin
 g activities\, and for engaging with the speakers.\n	Virtual participants
  will only access live stream and ask questions via SliDo.\n\nTarget audi
 ence\n\nBioinformaticians and technical specialists with an interest in th
 e industry perspective of the topic.\n\nAims\n\n\n	Give companies the chan
 ce to present technological advances in the field of Machine Learning in l
 ife sciences\;\n	Provide a forum for knowledge exchange and collaboration 
 in the pre-competitive space\;\n	Create networking opportunities with bioi
 nformatics opinion leaders\, academic experts in ELIXIR and other industry
