 *ELIXIR Data Carpentry for Genomics** is a course intended for all those w
 ho would like to learn more about the basics of data processing and data m
 anagement in the field of genomics.\n\nThe course will be in English. **Th
 e limit of participants is 20.** If there are more applicants than availab
 le places\, the participants will be selected based on their institutional
  and geographic background\, while also taking into account the time of th
 eir registration. The course is free of charge. You can find more info abo

 the computer classroom at the **Institute of Biostatistics and Medical Inf
 ormatics (IBMI)**\, Faculty of Medicine\, Vrazov trg 2\, Ljubljana. \n\nSe
 ssions will be intensive and hands-on\, and taught by experienced data car
 pentry instructors. Instructors will be **Vasilis Lenis (University of Ply
 mouth\, UK)** and **Živa Ramšak (ELIXIR Slovenia\; National Institute of
  Biology Ljubljana)**. The course is recommended for anyone who would like
  to learn more about how to process and manage big scale genomic data.\n\n

 ELIXIR-SI eLearning Platform\n* Project management in genomics and introdu
 ction to cloud computing\n* Introduction to Linux/Unix command line\n* Dat

 IXIR Slovenia** in collaboration with **ELIXIR Hub** and **Data &amp\; Sof
 tware Carpentry**.
