DESCRIPTION:This course introduces trainers in the life sciences to learnin
 g principles\, training techniques\, lesson\, session\, course\, and mater
 ial design as well as assessment and feedback. It offers guidance\, ideas 
 and tips for designing training/teaching\, development and delivery on tra
 ining activities\, all based on research-driven educational principles. Ex
 amples and discussions will also focus on the challenges presented by acad
 emic teaching.\n\nThis course has been developed for and by trainers in bi
 oinformatics but is suitable for all trainers and educators in higher educ
 ation. It is part of the ELIXIR-GOBLET Train-the-Trainer programme.\n\nThe
  course will run very Friday morning of March 2023 (9 am – 1 pm) and is 
 organized by ELIXIR UK
