 R Train the Trainer (TtT) course is aimed at everyone who is interested in
  becoming a better teacher. Even though this training is aimed at those wh
 o are involved in either the ELIXIR Systems Biology or Single-Cell Omics C
 ommunities\, the first 4 sessions are aimed at anyone interested in becomi
 ng a new or better trainer.\n\nAt the end of the course\, the participants
  are expected to:\n\nknow which learning principles a good trainer should 
 have in mind\ndescribe at least three training techniques drawing on learn
 ing principles\ndesign a training session and a course\ndevelop assessment
  questionnaires\ntell what types of material are needed for each part of a
  training session\nTeaching materials will be made available during and af
 ter the course in digital format.\n\nFormat\n\nThis course will be deliver
 ed over five morning sessions during one week\, in a virtual format via Zo
 om.\n\n\nSession 1 – 22 May\nIntroduction to learning principles\nSessio
 n 2 – 23 May\nApplication of learning principles in instructional design
 \nSession 3 – 24 May\nTeaching activities to enhance learner engagement\
 nSession 4 – 25 May\nAssessment and feedback in training and teaching\nS
 ession 5 – 26 May\nChallenges when teaching Systems Biology – Barbara
