DESCRIPTION:The ELIXIR Microbiome Community F2F/Hybrid Event will take plac
 e from 12:00 CEST on Wednesday\, April 9th to 16:00 CEST\, to Thursday\, A
 pril 10th\, 2025\, in Barcelona\, Spain\, with hybrid options for virtual 
 participation. This meeting brings together members of the ELIXIR Microbio
 me Community to build connections\, review community progress\, and collab
 orate on strategic planning and proposals for the 2024-2028 ELIXIR Scienti
 fic Programme. \n\nThe agenda will feature presentations on the ELIXIR Sc
 ientific Programme and Microbiome Community initiatives\, including the un
 veiling of our latest White Paper. Participants will join in interactive s
 essions to share their expertise\, align on key research themes and method
 s\, and brainstorm actionable strategies to strengthen community engagemen
 t and collaboration.\n\nOn the second day\, sessions will focus on alignin
 g community goals with Science Tiers and designing proposals for commissio
 ned services\, ELIXIR All Hands workshops\, and ELIXIR BioHackathon 2025. 
 The event will conclude with a joint session between the Biodiversity and 
 Microbiome communities\, fostering further interdisciplinary collaboration
 .\n\nThis meeting has a limit of in-person attendees\, with no-limit on vi
 rtual participant numbers. Selected invited participants will receive fund
 ing to attend the meeting. Details regarding funding and reimbursement wil
 l be shared after registration. Please do not book any travel until after 
 you have been notified.\n\nIf you are interested in contributing to the di

 o an engaging\, productive gathering that shapes the next phase of the ELI
