 IR Software Carpentry is a workshop intended for all those \nwho would lik
 e to learn more about the basics of R - \nsoftware environment used in bio
 informatics \nfor statistical computing and graphics. \nThe workshop will 
 include a keynote lecture \nabout data management in ELIXIR-SI.\n\nThe wor
 kshop will be in English.\n\nThe course will take place in the computer cl
 assroom \nat the Institute of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics (IBMI)
 \, \nFaculty of Medicine\, Vrazov trg 2\, Ljubljana.\n\n**The course is fr
 ee of charge. The limit of participants is 20.** \nIf the number of regist
 ered applicants exceeds this limit\, \nselection of participants will be m
 ade. \nIt will be based on the time of their registration and their affili
 ations\, \nas well as geographic distribution.\n\nSessions will be intensi
 ve and hands-on\, \nand taught by experienced software carpentry instructo
 rs. \nThe course is recommended for anyone \nwho would like to learn more 
 about using statistical computing and graphics \nin the bioinformatics fie
 ld\, both for research or operational work.\n\n**Program topics:**\n- Keyn
