 he US National Institutes of Health (NIH) as part of its Webinar Series:\
 n\n\n	Susan Gregurick is the NIH Associate Director for Data Science and
  the Director of the Office Data Science Strategy leading the efforts to 
 realise the vision set forth in the NIH Strategic Plan for Data Science.\n
 \n\n\n	Ishwar Chandramouliswaran is Program Director and technical lead f
 or the strategy\, planning\, coordination and oversight of establishing a 
 “FAIR” data and repository ecosystem.\n\n\nTogether\, they will presen
 t on Enabling a Data Ecosystem at the National Institutes of Health:\n\nT
 he complexity and volume of basic\, translational\, and clinical research 
 data generated by NIH supported and conducted research continues to rapidl
 y increase\, even more so in the light of the COVID-19 pandemic. To take f
 ull advantage of these data\, NIH must integrate the collection\, storage\
 , analysis\, use\, and sharing of these data to ensure they are discoverab
 le\, interoperable\, and reusable according to FAIR practices.\n\nThis tal
 k will showcase some of the key activities led and coordinated by the Offi
 ce of Data Science Strategy to realise the vision for a modernised and int
 egrated biomedical data ecosystem including the development of a diverse d
 ata science workforce and building strategic partnerships in emerging tech
 nologies.
