DESCRIPTION:This workshop will introduce and discuss the various steps in p
 lanning\, delivering and assessing success of (Bioinformatics) training. I
 t also provides an overview on key elements in learning. This course aims 
 to make participants aware of the various crucial steps and elements of a 
 hands on session and interactive training as well as where to find useful 
 information. Participants will learn about key ways that adults learn\, re
 cognise different styles of learning and training\, the roles of the train
 er in the classroom and practical tips to ensure interactivity and course 
 opening and closing strategies. This particular course was developed with 
 the specific challenges of delivering bioinformatics training in mind and 
 the settings of end user hands on training sessions instead of traditional
  lecture based training.
