DESCRIPTION:Employ InterPro to help you answer your research questions!\n\n
This workshop will help you find out why there is a need to automatically
annotate proteins\, how protein family databases can help meet this challe
 nge\, and how [InterPro](http://www.ebi.ac.uk/interpro) pulls together a n
umber of such databases\, allowing you to classify unknown protein sequenc
es and identify their function. The module is a combination of presentatio
ns and hands-on practical exercises. You will explore the various features
of an InterPro entry\, and design a workflow to utilise InterPro in the a
nalysis of real world data.\n\nAlso note: This event is part of a series o
f short introductions focusing on EMBL-EBI resources. If you want to learn
more about these separate training events\, see the [[#Related|Related Co
urses]] section below. \n\nThe training room is located on the first floor
and there is currently no wheelchair or level access available to this le
vel.\n\nPlease note that if you are not eligible for a University of Cambr
 idge [Raven](http://www.ucs.cam.ac.uk/docs/faq/raven/n5) account you will
need to book or register your interest by linking [here](http://bioinfotra
