 nce ‘Emerging applications of microbes’. This international conference
  will take place June 3rd-4th 2019 in the beautiful historic city of Leuve
 n. \n\nWe will welcome a range of world leaders from academia and industry
  who will discuss the latest applications and technological developments i
 n the field of microbiology. With session topics such as metabolic enginee
 ring\, synthetic biology\, industrial biotechnology as well as microbial c
 ommunities\, we aim to provide you with a platform to discuss and exchange
  ideas with fellow researchers.\n\nIn addition to the scientific program w
 ith plenary talks and poster sessions\, there will be ample opportunities 
 to network and discuss collaborations during the breaks\, reception and co
