DESCRIPTION:Medical research relies heavily on experimentation. These exper
 iments\,  regardless whether executed in vitro or on animals or people\, 
 need to be designed properly to produce reliable results and to achieve th
 eir goals in the most efficient manner. This course explains the ground ru
 les for valid and efficient experimental design. The design\, (basic) data
  analysis and the result interpretation will be dealt with by studying rea
 listic examples in biotech related medical research. The course is very ha
 nds-on and relies on R as design and analysis tool.\n\nWe welcome experime
 ntal design questions from the audience.
