DESCRIPTION:EMBL-EBI data resources provide access to a wide range of biolo
 gical data that can support research in infection biology. This webinar wi
 ll illustrate how different types of protein functional and structural dat
 a can be accessed and connected across four EMBL-EBI resources: [UniProt]
 (https://www.uniprot.org/)\, the [Electron Microscopy Data Bank (EMDB)](h
 ttps://www.ebi.ac.uk/emdb/)\, the [Protein Data Bank in Europe (PDBe)](ht
 tps://www.ebi.ac.uk/pdbe/)\, and the [AlphaFold Protein Structure Databas
 e (AFDB)](https://alphafold.ebi.ac.uk/).\n\nUsing influenza haemagglutinin
  as a case study\, we will explore its protein sequence and functional ann
 otation in UniProt\, cryo-EM 3D maps in EMDB\, and experimental and predic
 ted protein structures in PDBe and AFDB. We will demonstrate how to access
 \, browse\, and retrieve these data\, as well as explore the cross-links a
 vailable across the resources.\n\nWe will conclude by considering the broa
 der role of open biological data resources in infection research and pande
