Date: 18 - 19 May 2022

Timezone: Central European Summer Time

On 18-19 May, bioinformaticians and data managers will gather to address how the Nordic region handled omics data throughout the pandemic. The focus will be particularly on how sequencing efforts were coordinated, and how data was managed and shared. There will be discussions on the importance of the FAIR principles in pandemic data management, and which tools and pipelines facilitated efforts. The meeting aims to identify key resources that have wider applicability and can be reused further, shed light on best practices that could be adopted across the Nordics, and how we might best prepare for future pandemic.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday and Thursday (18-19 May), and it is organised by ELIXIR Norway, ELIXIR Estonia, and SciLifeLab Data Centre. For programme and registration, visit the event webpage by Nordic Computational Biology
