DESCRIPTION:The course on Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) is a graduate le
 vel\, 3 days course. The aim of the course is to present to the participan
 ts\, from a technical perspective\, the key subjects and tools on CAE work
 flow with a focus on their usability on modern High Performance Computing 
 (HPC) platforms. Specifically\, the use of the numerical methods as invest
 igation and design tool will be discussed and compared against experimenta
 l measurement techniques in different field of application with a special 
 emphasis on fluid dynamics problems. The course consists of lectures and e
 xtended hands-on tutorials based on the utilization of state-of-the-art so
 ftwares.Target Audience:\n Researcher and engineering working with indust
 ry-driven uses case to be enabled or tuned on HPC environment. Priority wi
 ll be given to industrial users.Topics:\nDuring the 3 days course the part
 icipants will be introduced to the typical CAE workflow: pre-processing\, 
 computing\, post-processing.\n●     Pre-processing: from problem geo
 metry definition (CAD) to mesh            generation\;\n●  
    Computing: numerical models tools and their management on HPC platfor
 ms\;\n●     Post-processing: from synthetic dataset to insight using
  scientific visualization techniques and tools.Benefits\nThe main expected
