 ractice in different areas of the life sciences in the activities of ELIXI
 R\, which underpin the evolution of a data\, tools\, interoperability\, co
 mpute and training infrastructure for European life science informatics. V

 o join the Intrinsically Disordered Proteins (IDP) Annual (online) worksho
 p. The workshop presents an opportunity to learn about the most recent Com
 munity activities\, engage with other Community members and co-leads.\n\nT
 he agenda is now available.\n\nIDP are proteins containing regions that la
 ck a stable secondary or tertiary structure. These regions are called 'Int
 rinsically Disordered Regions' (IDRs) and play a central role in cell regu
 lation. They are also thought to be involved many human diseases\, includi
 ng cancer\, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. The major goal of the
  IDP Community is to support the development of standards\, tools and reso
 urces to accelerate the identification\, analysis and functional character
 isation of IDPs.\n\nThis meeting will be held virtual and is free to atten
 d\, registration is required.\n\nProgramme overview:\n\nStart: 25 January 
 2022\, 14:30 CET\n	End: 25 January 2022\, 16:30 CET\n\nThe meeting will s
 tart with a brief overview of the aims and activities of the IDP Community
  and will be followed by parallel sessions around different Community topi
 cs and allowing for networking amongst attendees\, old and new Community m
