DESCRIPTION:Educators: \nChair: Sven Twardziok (HD-HuB)\nPresenter: Elli Po

ocation: \nOnline -&gt\; Join us for the upcoming CLUES Seminar\n\nContent
s: \nThe exposome paradigm\, the totality of environmental exposures exper
ienced by an individual throughout their lifespan\, has fundamentally tran
sformed environmental health research. Rather than studying isolated expos
ures (e.g.\, air pollution\, occupational hazards)\, the exposome framewor
k acknowledges the complex\, cumulative\, and synergistic interactions amo
 ng physical\, chemical\, social\, and occupational environmental factors t
hat collectively determine health outcomes.\n\nHowever\, a critical infras
tructure gap persists. Data on air quality\, water contamination\, chemica
l exposures\, neighborhood characteristics\, and socioeconomic factors exi
st across multiple institutions and geographies\, but lack common standard
s or integration frameworks. This fragmentation severely limits large-scal
e exposome research and prevents systematic investigation of complex expos
 ure-health relationships.\n\nCLUES (Climate\, Urbanicity\, Environment and
Society\, https://doi.org/10.1038/s41467-026-73048-6) was developed to ad
dress this gap. As an established geospatial framework\, CLUES facilitates
the integration of diverse environmental exposures with health research d
ata at the individual level. In this seminar\, we will present the CLUES p
ipeline and demonstrate how environmental exposure data from open-access s
ources can be systematically linked to individual-level health data in a p
 rivacy-compliant way.\n\nLearning goals: \nDemonstrate how environmental e
xposure data from open-access sources can be systematically linked to indi
vidual-level health data in a privacy-compliant way using the CLUES framew
 ork.\n\nPrerequisites:\nNone\n\nKeywords:\nEnvironment\, Health\, Cohorts\
 , Linkage\, Exposome\n\nTools:\nCLUES (https://github.com/BIH-DMBS/CLUES)
