DESCRIPTION:Infectious diseases are shaped by a complex interplay between p
 athogens and their hosts: molecular interactions drive infection\, immune 
 recognition and disease progression. Understanding the structural mechanis
 ms underlying these processes is essential for deciphering host–pathogen
  interactions and identifying opportunities for therapeutic intervention.\
 n\nIn this webinar series\, we will explore how recent advances in structu
 ral biology and associated computational methods are improving our ability
  to investigate the mechanisms of infection and translate the resulting in
 sights into biomedical applications. We will also consider how artificial 
 intelligence (AI) is being applied in infection biology\, together with th
 e opportunities and challenges associated with its use. The series will co
 nclude by introducing freely accessible EMBL-EBI data resources that can s
