 ctive exploration and analysis of large amounts of data from scientific si
 mulations\, in-situ visualization and application control are convincing s
 cenarios for explorative sciences. Based on the open source software Jupyt
 er or JupyterLab\, a way has been available for some time now that combine
 s interactive with reproducible computing while at the same time meeting t
 he challenges of support for the wide range of different software workflow
 s.\n\nEven on supercomputers\, the method enables the creation of document
 s that combine live code with narrative text\, mathematical equations\, vi
 sualizations\, interactive controls\, and other extensive output. However\
 , a number of challenges must be mastered in order to make existing workfl
 ows ready for interactive high-performance computing. With so many possibi
 lities\, it's easy to lose sight of the big picture. This course provides 
 a detailed introduction to interactive high-performance computing.\n\nThe 
 following topics are covered:\n\n\n	Introduction to Jupyter\n	Parallel com
 puting using Jupyter\n	Coupling and control of simulations\n	Interactive &
 amp\; in-situ visualization\n	Simulation dashboards\n\n\nPrerequisites: Ex
 perience in Python\n\nApplication \nRegistrations are only considered unti
