DESCRIPTION:All PATC Courses at BSC do not charge fees.\n\nPLEASE BRING YOU
 R OWN LAPTOP.\n\nLocal Web Page:http://www.bsc.es/cuda-introduction-patc\n
\nThis course will provide very good introduction to the PUMPS Summer Scho
ol run jointly with NVIDIA - 11-15 July also  at Campus Nord\, Barcelona.
For further information visit the school website.\nConvener: \nAntonio P
 ena\, BSC\nActing Director\,\nNVIDIA GPU Center of Excellence\n\nObjective
s: \n\nThe aim of this course is to provide students with knowledge and h
ands-on experience in developing applications software for processors with
massively parallel computing resources. In general\, we refer to a proces
sor as massively parallel if it has the ability to complete more than 64 a
rithmetic operations per clock cycle. Many commercial offerings from NVIDI
A\, AMD\, and Intel already offer such levels of concurrency. Effectively
programming these processors will require in-depth knowledge about paralle
l programming principles\, as well as the parallelism models\, communicati
on models\, and resource limitations of these processors.\n\nAgenda: \n\n

arget audiences of the course are students who want to develop exciting ap
plications for these processors\, as well as those who want to develop pro
gramming tools and future implementations for these processors.\n\nLevel:
(All courses are designed for specialists with at least 1st cycle degree o
r similar background experience)\nBEGINNERS: for trainees from different b
