 source R package that allows building interactive web applications from R\
 , and without knowledge of web-development\, enabling data scientists to m
 ake their data or analysis interactively explorable and accessible to coll
 eagues\, end-users\, and/or for publication.\n\nIn this course\, we will i
 ntroduce the R Shiny framework\, and equip R programmers with the basic to
 ols to build and deploy their own web apps.\n\n# Audience\nLife scientists
 \, bioinformaticians\, and any R users who are interested in developing an
  interactive web application to communicate their data or analysis to othe
 r non-programmers.\n\n# Learning objectives\nAt the end of the course\, th
 e participants will be able to:\n* describe Shiny framework structure: ser
 ver and user interface \n* create their own Shiny applications\n* edit exi
 sting Shiny applications available  in the Gallery\n* use various built-in
  input widgets\n* use R scripts and data embedded in Shiny web application
 \n* illustrate reactive expressions\n* share Shiny applications and learn

 petencies\n\nThis course is designed for advanced R programmers\; particip
 ants should have experience in programming in R\, equivalent to at least t
 he combination of the SIB courses “First steps with R”  (Knowledge of

 ed a computer with the latest versions of [R](https://www.r-project.org/) 
 and [RStudio](https://www.rstudio.com/products/rstudio/download/)  install
 ed. \n\n# Application\n\n\nThe registration fees are **100 CHF** for acade
 mics and **500 CHF** for companies.\n\nWhile participants are registered o
 n a first come\, first serve basis\, exceptions may be made to ensure dive
 rsity and equity.\n\nYou will be informed by email of your registration co
 nfirmation. Upon reception of the confirmation email\, participants will b
 e asked to confirm attendance by paying the fees within 5 days.\n\nDeadlin
