Introduction to Scientific Programming using Python @ EPCC in Oxford

This course is aimed at programmers with basic Python knowledge seeking to learn how to use Python for scientific computing. We will introduce Python's fundamental scientific libraries such NumPy, SciPy and Matplotlib.
We will also introduce message-passing in Python with mpi4py and how to interface Python with Fortran and C codes. To gain the most out of the mpi4py part of the course, you will need a basic understanding of MPI.
