 .The particulars of protecting inventions and the patenting process will b
 e showcased based on examples\, with the aim to provide practical introduc
 tion to patentability analysis and scope of an invention. Finally\, IP ma
 nagers of the VIB Innovation and Business team will give personal insights
  in the role of a Patent Attorney in academia\, industry\, or a law firm\,
  and share their experiences and expertise in patent portfolio creation\, 
 advising of PI's and clients and share some tips for participants willing 
 to pursue an IP career in future.
