 eded to start your journey in cloud-based data handling\, data management 
 and data processing .\n\n \n\nDay 1: After a warm welcome we will briefly 
 introduce into the two backing organizations\, i.e. "de.KCD - Data Compete
 nce Center Cloud Technologies for Data Management and Processing" and "de.
 NBI - The German Network for Bioinformatics Infrastructure"\, followed by 
 a short hands-on session on setting up your account and getting everyone p
 repared. For the main part of this day\,  you'll learn how to use the diff
 erent de.NBI Cloud resources and services\, start and manage virtual machi
 nes\, transfer and access data and learn what to consider for data handlin
 g particular in a cloud environment.\n\nDay 2: After a general and domain 
 unspecific overview on existing RDM solutions and platforms\, we'll dive d
 eeper into FAIRDOM SEEK\, a leading tool for research data management. You
 'll learn how to manage and organize your data\, create and attach metadat
 a descriptions\, and collaborate with others. Our instructors will guide y
 ou through hands-on exercises\, ensuring that you're comfortable using the
 se tools to advance your research. For the second part of the day\, we wil
 l focus more on the data processing aspect\, staring with Galaxy\, a web-b
 ased platform for creating\, running\, and reproducing bioinformatic analy
 sis workflows followed by a session on best practices for data processing 
 in cloud environments by executing standard workflows in the cloud-based w
