DESCRIPTION:This virtual knowledge exchange workshop is an opportunity for 
 managers of bioinformatics core facilities to learn from EMBL-EBI’s serv
 ice teams\, from each other\, and from potential users of their services. 
 These facilities play an essential role in enabling research in the molecu
 lar life sciences. The landscape is constantly evolving as new research to
 ols emerge\, as experiments become increasingly data intensive\, and as th
 eir clients – experimental researchers – become more exposed to the po
 wer of data-driven biology.\n\n**Virtual workshop**\n\nThe workshop will i
 nvolve participants learning via pre-recorded lectures\, live presentation
 s\, and trainer Q&amp\;A sessions. The content will be delivered over [Zo
 om](https://zoom.us/)\, with additional text communication over [Slack](h
 ttps://slack.com/intl/en-gb/).  Live sessions will include both group and
  individual activities\, alongside optional social and networking opportun
 ities.\n\nParticipants will need to be available between the hours of 08:4
 5 - 15:30 BST each day.\n\nProgramme may be subject to slight changes bef
 ore registration.
