DESCRIPTION:Description: \n\nThe course is made in collaboration with MaX\,
  the European center of excellence (http://www.max-centre.eu/).\nIt will 
 focus of the main codes used by the material science community (namely\, Q
 uantum Espresso\, Siesta\, Yambo\, ...) introducing their architecture and
  usage. The course will explain how the codes exploit petascale systems\, 
 targeting in particular to PRACE Tier 0 systems\, and how they are moving 
 to the exascale era\, with specific attention to hybrid\, accelerated arch
 itectures.\n\nTopics:\n\nIntroduction to MaX infrastractures (Cineca Tier
  0 Marconi\, CSCS infrastructure).\n	Introduction to some of the main code
  used by the material science community: QE\, Siesta\, Yambo\, qe-lammps.\
 nTarget Audience: \n\nComputational scientists\n\nPre-requisites:\n\nUse o
 f hpc infrastructure\, knowledge of one or more of the codes used in this 
 course\n\nGrant:\n\nA grant of 300 EUR (for foreign students) and 150 EUR 
 (for Italian students) will be available for participants not funded by th
 eir institution and not working in the Bologna area.\nSome documentation w
 ill be required and the grant will be paid only after a certified presence
  of minimum 80% of the lessons and about 1 month after the ending of the c
 ourse.\nFor further information about how to submit for the grant\, please
  wait the confirmation email that you are accepted to the course about 3 w
 eeks before the date of the beginning of the lessons. \n \n\nThe lunch f
