 s in MATLAB. This practical session provides a series of example workflows
  to extract quantitative data from image files.\n\nThis workshop is the fi
 rst event in Imaging ONE WORLD\, a series of events bringing together scie
 ntists working from home to deliver workshops and talks on imaging theory 
 and analysis. An initiative made up of scientists\, imaging systems and so
 ftware providers in collaboration to deliver high quality training to the 
 image analysis community.\n\nAlthough not a necessity\, we recommend atten
 ding the [Introduction to MATLAB](https://training.csx.cam.ac.uk/bioinform
 atics/course/bioinfo-matlab) course run at the Training Facility and / or 
 the [Intro to MATLAB using MathWorks](https://matlabacademy.mathworks.com/
 R2019b/portal.html?course=gettingstarted) prior to the workshop. For the M
 athsWorks course you will need to sign up for a MathWorks Account. All Uni
 versity of Cambridge members should be eligible to obtain a MathWorks Acco
