DESCRIPTION:Dear colleague\,\n\nWe are pleased to invite you to the 8th Int
 ernational Moscow Conference on Computational Molecular Biology (MCCMB’1
 7)\, which will take place on July 27-30\, 2017 in Moscow\, Russia.\n\nSta
 rting mid-January 2017\, we welcome submissions of two-page abstracts from
  researchers working\, in particular\, in the following areas:\n- sequence
  analysis (statistics of DNA and protein sequences\; functional annotation
  of genes\, proteins and genomes)\;\n- structure of biopolymers (predictio
 n of protein structure\; interaction of proteins with ligands\; comparativ
 e analysis of protein 3D structures\; prediction of RNA structure)\;\n- mo
 lecular evolution (phylogenetic analysis\; comparative genomics\; genome r
 earrangements)\;\n- omics and systems biology (genome and metagenome analy
 sis\; transcriptomics\; large-scale analysis of proteomes and protein-prot
 ein interactions\, metabolic and signal pathways\; models and networks)\;\
 n- next generation sequencing\;\n- bioalgorithms.\n\nBasing on the confere
 nce history\, we expect about 40 talks\, 100 posters\, and\, possibly\, so
 me computer demonstrations and round tables.\n\nPreliminarly timetable:\n-
  submission of abstracts will be open in January 2017\;\n- the deadline fo
 r submission of abstracts for oral presentations is March 8\, 2017\;\n- th
 e deadline for submission of poster abstracts is May 1\, 2017.\n\nThe acce
 pted abstracts will be indexed in the Russion Index of Scientific Citation
 s (RINC).\n\nSelected papers of MCCMB’17 participants will be published 
 in the special issue of Journal of Bioinformatics and Computational Biolog
 y subject to the standard reviewing procedure.\n\nLooking forward to see y
