DESCRIPTION:Our goal is to help learners understand how repository metadata
  can be made interoperable and accessible beyond the local repository. The
  session will cover interoperability within a domain\, mappings across met
 adata formats\, metadata harvesting and dissemination\, and integration wi
 th broader services such as OpenAIRE.\n\nSuccess means that learners can i
 dentify appropriate ways to expose metadata from their repository\, unders
 tand how metadata is harvested and reused\, and evaluate how local metadat
 a decisions affect external discovery and interoperability.\n\nThe session
  will focus not only on which protocols and technologies are used\, but al
 so on the problems they address\, the decisions behind their selection\, a
 nd the trade-offs involved.
