DESCRIPTION:As the ability to generate data has grown rapidly across life s
cience research\, so too has the development of bioinformatics methods to
analyse and interpret it. Not only do different data types require differe
nt approaches (due to file formats\, technologies used to generate them\,
and the biological context)\, but the same dataset can often be analysed i
n multiple ways depending on the research question. This webinar series pro
vides an overview of standard bioinformatics methods used across various l
ife science fields\, from genomics to proteomics and image analysis.  Eac
h session focuses on a specific methodological area\, offering insight int
o the tools\, resources\, and strategies used in the field. All webinars in
the series have been recorded\, and individual sessions are accessible th
rough the list below. Each webinar can be viewed as standalone content\, m
aking it easy for learners to explore the topics most relevant to their in
terests. Slides are also provided. The content has also been repurposed in
to the curated collection Methods in Bioinformatics\, for those who wish
to follow a more structured learning pathway on this topic.
