DESCRIPTION:On the fourth day of the INFORMATIK 2026 conference\, Morpheus.
 Lab will host a full-day workshop on the topic of ‘Modelling and Simulat
 ion in the Life Sciences’. In addition to multicellular modelling\, stan
 dard design and model implementations\, we will also look closely at repos
 itories\, FAIR publication and certification – including aspects such as
  metadata formats\, standardised annotations and repository interconnectio
 n – as well as encouraging community work within the biological and medi
 cal research community to promote the exchange across relevant modelling f
 ormalisms\, simulation environments\, repository providers and networks.\n
 \nPicking up on the theme of the event\, our workshop addresses digital re
 silience by strengthening the robustness\, interoperability\, discoverabil
 ity and long-term sustainability of models\, simulation environments and r
 esearch infrastructures\, achieved through open standards for research dat
 a\, software and other scientific outputs\, FAIR practices\, as well as co
 mmunity-driven Trustworthy Digital Repositories (TDRs) and their certifica
 tion.
