DESCRIPTION:Bioinformatics is an increasingly important skill for biologica
 l scientists. Many bioinformatic tools can only be run on Unix based opera
 ting systems. This course aims to introduce you to Linux and is aimed at b
 eginners and novices to the command line.\n\nPlaces are restricted to UK-b
 ased researchers and only 30 places are available so please only register 
 if you intend on attending.\n\nThe online workshop will be held over one d
 ay on Tuesday 8th October 2024\, 10am-4pm\, with registration opening at 9
 .30am.\n\nThe deadline to register is Monday 23 September\, 2 weeks before
  the course. You will hear later that week whether you have been invited a
