 compare biological data.\n\nOn this course\, you’ll get familiar with Li
 nux – the operating system often used to access and analyse biological d
 ata. You’ll come away able to navigate it using the command line\, under
 standing how to write scripts and prepare data files for further analysis 
 and visualisation.\n\n### Who is this course for?\n\nThis course will appe
 al to students\, biologists\, and research scientists with an interest in 
 bioinformatics.\n\nLearners are expected to have some knowledge of or expe
 rience with life sciences\, but no prior knowledge of computing or bioinfo

 ice preparation of data files under Linux for exporting to other environme
 nts (use of R for further analysis and visualisation)\n* Exercises on biol
