DESCRIPTION:This course offers guidance\, ideas and tips for designing trai
 ning/teaching\, development and delivery on training activities\, all base
 d on research-driven educational principles. This course will cover 4 main
  topics:\n\n1. Learning principles and how they apply to training and teac
 hing\n2. Design and plan session\, course\, materials\n3. Teaching techniq
 ues to enhance learner engagement and participation\n4. Assessment and fee
 dback in training and teaching\n\nNote! The course is highly interactive a
 nd hence it is important that you\, as a participant\, actively contribute
  to all sessions and elements of the course\n\nThis course will be deliver

 ding acceptance to the course or if you are on the reserve list no later t

 There is no course attendance fee.\n\nNote! If you are accepted and decide
  not to attend without communicating the reason for the no-show with us\, 
 we will invoice a no-show-fee of 200 Euros.\n\nThe invoicing information n

  the training event\, if you are to be accepted. By giving the invoice inf

  how they apply to training\n- To be able to select and use training techn
 iques that can help enhance learner engagement and participation\n- To lea
 rn how to use assessment and feedback in training\n- To learn about sessio
 n\, course\, and materials design\n\nLearning Outcome:\n\nBy the end of th
 is course\, learners will be able to:\n\n- Name learning principles that a
  good teacher/instructor should have in mind\n- Describe at least three tr
 aining techniques\, drawing on learning principles\n- Design a training se
 ssion and a course\n- Develop assessment questionnaires\n- Enumerate types
  of materials needed for each part of a training session or course\n\n**Ta
 rget audience**\n\nWhoever is interested in becoming a trainer/instructor\
 , or improving your training skills. If you have questions like the follow
 ing ones\, this course may be very helpful to you.\n\n- How learning works
 ?\n- How do I use learning principles and theories to improve my teaching/
 training?\n- How do I make my teaching/training more engaging and effectiv
 e?\n- How should I adjust my teaching/training to different types of learn
 ers?\n- How do I ensure learning progress?\n- How can I assess whether my 
 students are actually understanding my lessons? Are they actually learning
 ?\n- What is the best balance between theory and practice?\n- How can I be
 st assess whether learning is occurring and/or has occurred?\n- What works
  in a classroom and what doesn’t?\n\n**Selection criteria**\nWe will acc
 ept a maximum of 20 participants. Priority will be given to applicants fro
 m institutes and organisations across the Nordic research community and to
