  more reproducible? This is the course for you!\n\nCourse content\n\nSoftw
 are Carpentry aims to help researchers get their work done in less time an
 d with less pain by teaching them basic research computing skills. This co
 urse will cover the following lessons: Unix Shell\, R for reproducible sci
 entific analysis\, Version Control with Git.\n\nParticipants will be encou
 raged to help one another and to apply what they have learned to their own
  research problems.\nRegistration\n\nPlease sign up using the [registratio

 hort statement why you wish to participate in the Software Carpentry cours
 e. Participants connected to one of the hosting initatives will be given p
 riority\, beyond this participants will be accepted based on the order of 
 sign-up. You will need to actively confirm you participation after the sig
 nup period\, otherwise your spot will be offered to someone on the waiting
  list.\n\nParticipants are expected to attend all course days and install 
 software in advance. Participation in the installation help session is str
 ongly recommended.\n\nThe course will take place physically at the Univers
 ity of Bergen Library Digital Lab.\n\n \n\nMembers of the DLN Research Sch
 ool can apply for travel grants to join the event in person in Bergen from
  other locations.
