  sensors or computational simulations can take advantage of new techniques
  for being processed in order to extract new insights out of raw data. The
  purpose of this course is to present researchers with data science method
 s and techniques. The course includes theoretical lectures followed by pra
 ctical sessions on data manipulation\, visualisation\, machine learning an
 d deep learning.  A specific session on how to use HPC resources is inclu
 ded.\n\nParticipants will utilize Python on their personal computers as we
 ll as Cineca HPC resources for practical projects.\n\nTopics: \n\n-Introdu
 ction to data analytics\n\n-Machine Learning theory (supervised/unsupervis
 ed)\n\n-Data Manipulation with Numpy and Pandas \n\n-Data visualization wi
 th Matplotlib\, Seaborn\, Bokeh\n\n-Machine learning with sci-kit learn\n\
 n-Deep learning with Tensorflow and Keras\n\n-Introduction to Cineca HPC f
 acilities \n\nTarget Audience:\n\nStudents and researchers from academia a
 nd industry with different backgrounds who are looking for technologies an
 d methods to analyse large amounts of data.\n\nPrerequisites:\n\nParticipa
 nts must have basic knowledge in statistics\, fundamentals of computer pro
 gramming with Python and use of GNU/Linux-based systems.\n\nThe number of 
 participants is limited to 25 students. Applicants will be selected accor
 ding to their experience\, qualification and scientific interest BASED ON 
 WHAT WRITTEN IN THE "Reason for participation" FIELD OF THE REGISTRATION F
