DESCRIPTION:In another joint effort\, ENCCS and CSC will be offering a tr
 aining workshop on June 15-16 focused on GPU offloading using OpenMP. Th
 ese new features\, which are available since version 4.0\, make OpenMP a g
 ood option for researchers and developers who wish to accelerate their cod
 e on GPUs using a cross-platform framework supported by both Nvidia and AM
 D GPUs.\n\nThe workshop will be hands-on and interactive and lectures will
  be interleaved with type-along sessions and exercises.\n\nWhat you will l
 earn\n\nThe purpose of the workshop is to learn how GPU offloading works t
 o be able to write simple code using OpenMP directives for GPU offloading.
 \n\nPrerequisites\n\nPrevious experience with OpenMP\, e.g. for convention
 al threading on CPUs\, is not required. However\, participants should be c
